Sassella rededition
DOCG
The Nebbiolo from the prestigious Sassella cru, whose tiny vineyards Northwest of Sondrio are literally stolen from the stone, gives rise to a wine of great personality with good features of body and structure.
Kept six months in french oak barrels, it ages afterwards in chestnut casks for thirty months, becoming a fine and well structured red wine characterised by the complex elegance of the Nebbiolo grapes. The bouquet is intense, with notes of raspberries and wild berries. Clean and faceted, the Sassella caresses the palate with an harmonious symphony of aromas. Fine tannic structure, very long finish.
It pairs with red meat, game meat, mature cheeses.
