Grumello rededition
DOCG
The Nebbiolo grapes used to produce this wine reach maturity on the steep slopes of the Valtellina Superiore sub-district called Grumello, located northeast of Sondrio, whose name comes from the XIII century castle that dominates the valley.
Ruby-red colour with glints of garnet red, the Grumello, aged six months in third-fill french barrels and thirty months in big casks of autochthonous chestnut, expresses with resolute elegance the peculiarity of the grape variety. The scent is thin and intense, with nuances of toasted almond.
Of magnificient essentiality, this wine ideally pairs with the flavors of the local tradition.
